Le premier jour, les bottes doivent être portées pendant 10 à 15 minutes, soit pendant la sortie, soit pendant la conduite. Le lendemain, vous pouvez augmenter la durée et ainsi de suite. Les sabots du cheval, l'épaisseur de la peau, la sensibilité du bulbe et le conditionnement peuvent varier, veuillez donc surveiller l'usure et augmenter le temps passé dans les bottes, le cas échéant. Vous pouvez accélérer le processus de rodage en utilisant un assouplissant pour cuir de votre choix et/ou en traversant l'eau.
