La toute nouvelle gamme Horseware Amigo CamoFly est une nouvelle approche de la protection contre les mouches en exploitant la technologie d'impression et de couleur.
Le motif monochrome peut être un moyen simple de protéger les chevaux en aidant à dissuader les mouches de se poser sur leur corps. Les lignes noires superposées sur fond gris créent une illusion d’optique dans l’œil d’une mouche. Cela brise la forme du cheval, de sorte que les insectes ont du mal à l'identifier comme cible.
Comment ça marche?
- Les recherches sur la façon dont les mouches réagissent aux zèbres et à leurs rayures suggèrent que les rayures monochromes confondent les mouches, agissant comme un moyen de dissuasion naturel pour l'insecte.
- Sur la base de ce principe, nous avons créé un motif monochrome sur mesure, spécialement conçu pour aider à camoufler les chevaux des insectes et des mouches embêtants.

How to measure
Horses of the same height at the wither come in many shapes and sizes, so take your horse's measurements:
- Using a soft measuring tape, measure from (A), the centre of the chest, across the point of the shoulder to (B), the centre of the tail.
- Take 10cm (4 inches) off that measurement and find your horse's size in the table below.
Every horse is different, so the tables are a guide only.

Which rug style suits my horse?
- Straight front: for an average build, a classic neck cut, or a V-Front for extra comfort.
- V-Front: for a deep-shouldered, narrow horse, a Surefit design with V-Front closure.
- Disc front: for a narrow-chested horse, a rug with the Disc Front closure.
- XL: for a deep-shouldered horse with a deep neck and wide build. The XL cut is 20% deeper in the neck and sides.
- Optimo: the same broad build can also go for Optimo rugs, which give the most freedom of movement.
- Wug: for high-withered, narrow horses, the Wug® reduces wither pressure. For very narrow or young horses, Wug® or All-In-One designs help the rug fit and stop it slipping.
