Sand Shifter enthält Pyslliumschalenpulver, eine revolutionäre, massebildende Naturfaser, die aus Pyslliumsamen gewonnen wird.
Im Verdauungstrakt des Pferdes bildet Pysllium ein faseriges Gel, das an den Sandpartikeln haftet und verhindert, dass diese im Darm verbleiben und mögliche Verstopfungen verursachen. Seine Fähigkeit zur Volumenbildung fördert die Bewegung durch Peristaltik und unterstützt so die Beseitigung von Blockaden im Verdauungstrakt des Pferdes.
Zur Verbesserung der Schmackhaftigkeit wurde Anisaroma hinzugefügt, das für Pferde normalerweise unwiderstehlich ist.
Tägliche Fütterungsanleitung:
Für ein 500 kg schweres Pferd 4–5 Tage lang 150 g Pulver verfüttern. Sobald die Sandpartikel durch den Darm geflossen sind, muss das Pferd möglicherweise noch weitere 2–3 Wochen gefüttert werden, um den Sand vom Dickdarm zu befreien.
Für Pferde, die sandigen Lehm oder kurz geschnittenes Gras grasen: 50 g zweimal täglich an sieben aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen, einmal alle 3–4 Wochen oder nach Anweisung Ihres Tierarztes.
