The Rambo® Optimo Stable Rug (200g Medium) combines innovative design with a true passion for comfort and freedom of movement. Embracing Rambo® Split technology, this rug incorporates an adjustable bib-like section to the chest, alleviating pressure points and allowing the rug to move with your horse while preventing it from rubbing on the underside of the neck and vulnerable chest area. Cushioned padding on the wither area raises the stable rug to help prevent mane or wither rubs on horses with continued wear. Sensitive horses love the Rambo® Optimo Stable Rug!
Cut from a strong and durable 1000D Ripstop polyester outer. The Thermobonded 200g fill makes this the ideal choice middleweight stable rug for warmth with minimum weight and bulk.
The Surefit Neck gives your horse greater freedom of movement than traditional rug designs. The wipe-clean tail cord, hood and liner loops (for further compatibility with the Horseware® range of detachable neck covers and liner system), tail flap, and adjustable cross surcingles add to the rug's

How to measure
Horses of the same height at the wither come in many shapes and sizes, so take your horse's measurements:
- Using a soft measuring tape, measure from (A), the centre of the chest, across the point of the shoulder to (B), the centre of the tail.
- Take 10cm (4 inches) off that measurement and find your horse's size in the table below.
Every horse is different, so the tables are a guide only.

Which rug style suits my horse?
- Straight front: for an average build, a classic neck cut, or a V-Front for extra comfort.
- V-Front: for a deep-shouldered, narrow horse, a Surefit design with V-Front closure.
- Disc front: for a narrow-chested horse, a rug with the Disc Front closure.
- XL: for a deep-shouldered horse with a deep neck and wide build. The XL cut is 20% deeper in the neck and sides.
- Optimo: the same broad build can also go for Optimo rugs, which give the most freedom of movement.
- Wug: for high-withered, narrow horses, the Wug® reduces wither pressure. For very narrow or young horses, Wug® or All-In-One designs help the rug fit and stop it slipping.
