How does Pay later work?
With Pay later, you can pay for your order 30 days after shipping. If your Pay later request is accepted, Klarna will send you an email with payment instructions once your order is shipped. Just follow the link in the email to view your order.
Has Klarna received my payment?
Once Klarna have received your payment we will send a payment confirmation email to the address you used when ordering. If you do not receive this confirmation, please login here to see your payment status. You can also see the status of your orders in the Klarna app for iOS and Android.
I haven't received the email enclosing my statement number/payment information

Can I send my order to an address other than my billing address?
Yes. You can enter a separate delivery address at the checkout. We recommend that if you are new to Klarna and you haven’t used the Pay later option before, you should have your first order delivered to your billing address. This maximizes the chances of your purchase being accepted.
How is my statement sent?

How do I make a payment?
You can pay for your purchases whenever you want. Simply log in here and make a secure payment with either a debit or credit card. Logging in is quick and easy, just follow these three steps:

When should I receive my Pay later statement?
Your statement will be sent once the online store has shipped your order by email. Please note, you do not need to pay before the due date.
What information do I need to provide when I buy?
To make a purchase with Klarna you need to provide your mobile phone number and your e-mail address. All information will be sent to your email address, so it is important you provide the right contact details. We recommend that if you are new to Klarna and you haven’t used the Pay later option before, you should have your first order delivered to your billing address (where your bank account is registered). This maximizes the chances of your purchase being accepted.
What are my payment options with Klarna?

What happens if I forget the payment date of a statement?
Payment is typically due 30 days after the order is shipped. To help you pay on time, Klarna alert you two days before a payment is due. You’ll also receive email reminders.
My email address is not correct. How can I change it?
You can live chat with Klarna customer service agents 24/7 to request that your contact details be updated. Please quote your statement number if you have received a statement by post.
How can I increase my chances of being offered Pay later?
To increase your eligibility for Pay later, please help Klarna eliminate some top decline reasons
- Ensure your name and billing address match those held by your bank account or electoral roll.
- Retry - ensuring delivery of goods to your billing address.
Attempt to order with a lower basket value, if possible.

Pay Later in 3
How does Pay later in 3 work?
Pay later in 3 will allow you to spread the cost of your purchase over 3 equal payments. The payment for each instalment will automatically be collected from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. Your first instalment will be collected when your order is confirmed and instalments 2 and 3 are scheduled 30 and 60 days later, respectively.
Why have I not been offered Pay later in 3?
Although Pay later in 3 is widely promoted it is not always universally available. The Pay later 3 payment option is automatically generated by algorithms that are dependent upon a number of factors including address details, cardholder details, amount of order, the online store, previous order history, and item availability.
Am I eligible for Pay later in 3?
To use Pay later in 3 you must be at least 18. Whilst this option is widely promoted, Pay later in 3 is subject to your financial circumstances. When choosing Pay later in 3, Klarna assessment will not affect your credit rating.
Can I pay before the due date?
Yes! If you want to pay the outstanding balance of your Pay later in 3 purchase early, simply log in to Klarna, go to the order page and select "Pay off early"
What happens to my statement, when I've returned the goods?
Once we have received the return (partial or full) and you have received confirmation of this, an updated statement with an adjusted payment schedule will be sent to you by Klarna if you’ve made a partial return. With a full return, Klarna shall refund any payments collected and cancel any future scheduled payments.
What do I need to provide when I make a purchase?
If you want to make a purchase with Klarna using Pay later in 3, you'll need to provide the following : - Your phone number - Email Address - Current billing address - A valid debit/credit card All correspondence would be sent to your email address however, your mobile number is required should Klarna need to reach you. It's important that all this information is up to date otherwise you will not receive your payment schedule and any updated order information.
What happens if I cancel or return my order?
As soon as we have accepted your cancellation/return, Klarna will cancel any future scheduled payments as well as refund any amounts due.
What happens if I don’t pay for my order?
Klarna will automatically attempt to collect payment for your Pay later in 3 purchase from the card that you entered at checkout. You can find out when your payments will be taken in the email that you received at the time of purchase or by logging in to Klarna. If the automatic payment fails, Klarna will make another attempt to collect payment two days later. If this also fails, Klarna will issue you a statement for the full outstanding order, which will become payable 15 days later.
Can I change the card used to make payment?
Your second and third payments will be automatically taken from the card that you entered during the checkout process. If you need to change the payment card, simply log in to the Klarna app, head to your Pay later in 3 order and select "Change card", then enter your new card details.
I have cancelled my order. How long will it take until I receive a refund?
Once we have registered your cancellation or return, the repayment will be processed in five to seven bank days. In the case of a return or cancellation of an order where you have not yet paid, no refund will be made.
How does Klarna handle refunds?
If you are using Slice it, your refund will be available as a positive balance in your account with Klarna. This allows you to purchase again using your account at any participating online stores. If you have paid for your order with a card, the refund will be made back to the same card. Returned or cancelled orders should first be registered with us. The refund will be processed within the next 14 days.
