2980 Quick Contact 2.5-Ring Bridle Sweet Copper Double Jointed
This bit is frequently used in show jumping and eventing due to its increased leverage, depending on how it is fitted. This allows the rider to apply pressure to the mouth and poll. The 2.5-ring bridle offers various fitting options that allow for customized pressure distribution and different effects on the horse’s poll and mouth.
The continuous rings ensure that the anatomical mouthpiece remains in a neutral position and rests gently in the horse’s mouth. The double-jointed Level 3 mouthpiece is designed to exert more direct pressure on the horse’s bars, with the central joint evenly distributing pressure across the horse’s tongue. This design allows for quicker response to unilateral aids. The continuous rings also help the bit maintain a neutral position in the horse’s mouth. The SWEET Copper mouthpiece has a slightly sweet taste that is well accepted by horses and can stimulate chewing.
