Waldhausen Lock Up Double Jointed Stainless Steel Snaffle Bit
Waldhausen Lock Up Double Jointed Stainless Steel Snaffle Bit - 11.5cm / 14mm is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The Waldhausen Lock Up Double Jointed Stainless Steel Snaffle Bit combines the comfort of a double-jointed snaffle with the added precision of an innovative lock-up system. Under normal contact, it functions as a standard double-jointed bit, promoting a soft and comfortable connection.
When stronger rein pressure is applied or the horse resists, the lock-up mechanism temporarily transforms the mouthpiece into a straighter bar, creating more even pressure distribution and allowing for clearer communication. As soon as the pressure is released, the bit immediately returns to its original double-jointed shape.
Key Features:
- Double-jointed stainless steel mouthpiece

- Functions as a standard double-jointed bit under normal contact
- Temporarily acts like a straight bar under increased pressure
