Tri-Amino Formula – The Healthy Horse Company's own premium amino acid mix !

Contains the three most essential amino acids (the building blocks of Protein) – L-Lysine, DL-Methionine and L-Threonine.

– L-Lysine is an essential amino acid, often short in forage-based diets, which is an essential amino acid crucial to build muscle, top-line, and produce a strong bone matrix, tendons, skin and cartilage.  It is also required for the production of Keratin (hoof and coat) and supports a healthy immune and nervous system. Lysine improves protein availability, balances a lysine deficient diet, helps build topline/muscle mass, aids collagen formation, aids horses lacking stamina, improves hoof growth and hair quality, supports a healthy immune and nervous system and promotes overall good health.  When combined with Methionine, it forms Carnitine which is a compound needed for a healthy fat-burning metabolism.

– DL-Methionine is needed for the production of Cystine which is necessary to form the healthy “cross links” of collagen that add strength and elasticity needed for healthy hooves, skin, hair, ligaments, tendons and cartilage. Methionine supports liver function and helps the liver to process fat in the body.

– L-Threonine supports cardiovascular, liver, central nervous and immune system function.  It is needed to create glycine and serine, two amino acids that are necessary for the production of collagen, elastin and muscle tissue.  It helps to keep connective tissues and muscles throughout the body strong and elastic, including the heart.  L-Threonine also helps to support a healthy GI tract, build strong bones, tooth enamel and may speed up wound healing and recovery from injury.

Recommended Feeding Guidelines:
